Tacticon Armament's Level IV armor is a composite of ceramic and UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), weighing a mere 6 lbs. Tested according to the NIJ .06 standard, it can stop (1) shot of 30-06 M2AP. This armor is designed to provide complete protection against Armor Piercing rounds while managing trauma effectively. It is a standalone plate that does not require additional soft armor. The goal of this plate is to minimize weight while maintaining the ability to stop an AP round. We prioritize weight and comfort, which is why we have designed this plate with a multi-curve system to conform to your torso. This armor solution is also effective against other rifle threats, such as 5.56 M193/M855, 7.62x51(M80), and 7.62x39.

Yes! This plate is designed to stop 7.62x39 (122 gr) MSC, 5.56 M193/M855 variations, 7.62x51(M80), and all common handgun threats.

Is it multi-hit?

Yes. It can withstand more than one hit from the 30-06 M2AP.

Warranty & Returns

Body armor warrantied up to 20 years (depending on armor type). If you’re shot while wearing the plate carrier and trauma pad, we will replace the plate carrier, plates, and trauma pad free of charge. (POLICE REPORT REQUIRED). Armor (i.e. plates) must be returned within a week of receiving it. Once body armor is purchased it may not be returned after 7 calendar days from receiving the product. This is to ensure the integrity of our armor was not compromised as it is meant to save lives. The return of body armor is subject to a 15% restocking fee due to inspections and QC testing upon our receipt of the return.
