Our steel armor has been a cornerstone of our business since the beginning. Introducing our lightweight Level III plate, constructed from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). Weighing just over 3 lbs., this plate is less than half the weight of our lightest steel option. The significant weight reduction is highly beneficial during prolonged operations or training exercises, while still providing multi-hit ballistic protection from 7.62x51 M80 ball rounds. This product features the same Anti-Spall coating as our steel armor, but with a different function. The coating on this Level 3 body armor plate has a weather-resistant exterior that thoroughly seals the interior from external elements. The plate comes with an 8-year ballistic warranty and meets NIJ Level III standards.

This plate has been tested to the NIJ .06 standard, capable of stopping (6) shots of 7.62x51 (M80). Additionally, it can also stop the 5.56 M855 Green Tip, a round some Level III applications struggle to stop. This versatile plate offers comprehensive protection unless you expect to be faced with a .30 Cal M2AP threat. To enhance ergonomics and comfort, we've designed this plate as a multi-curve system that conforms to your torso.
Our body armor emphasizes maximum protection while providing superior comfort and a lightweight feel. Made from top-quality materials, the armor offers excellent defense against bullets and other ballistic threats. Absolutely! This plate is designed to stop 7.62x39 (122 gr) MSC and 5.56 M193/M855 variations.
Is it multi-hit?
Yes. It can easily withstand 6 shots of 7.62x51 (M80) while keeping trauma under 44mm.
What does the "+" signify?
In our case, the "+" indicates the plate's ability to stop the M855 62 gr Green Tip.
What is Thermal Polyurethane (TPU)?
TPU is a plastic that is heated and vacuum-formed around our plates. After the vacuum-forming process, we seal the edges with TPU to create a watertight seal that repels moisture and even diesel. Ensuring the covering is secure is a critical step in preventing moisture or foreign material from compromising the integrity of the composite armor.
